Their salsa is watered down to nothing. Food is absolutely terrible, except for the cheese dip and the cheesy enchiladas (same cheese sauce I believe). The only things this place has going for it are its $5 jumbo margarita hours (rather poor margaritas but the price is right) and the fact that it's packed with freshmen girls. I would only go here for a girl's 21st birthday until my last experience... Three of our group of eight were scheduled to arrive later, so they sat the rest of us at the bar. When the rest of the group showed up, we were moved to a table and the bartender came to give us our bills for the drinks. Three of the five of us paid with 20s for $5 orders and the bartender never returned with change. At the end of the night we went up to complain to the person at the front, who called over the bartender. Since we were just a bunch of gringos, they figured they could talk in Spanish in front of us and we'd have no idea, but I speak fluent Spanish. The conversation was: "Hey, these people said you never gave them change for their drinks." "Do they remember what they paid?" "Yea I think so" "Should I give them their money or can you get me out of this?" "I think you'll probably have to get it, that guy (me) looks a bit upset." Good thing I was with some ladies or I would have introduced his teeth to the back of his throat. Never coming back to this dump again and I'm advising my friends the same.

great amostphere, good drinks and good drink specials. A really fun bar to go to on any night of the week! especially on thursdays fridays and saturdays!

I've only been to Share for the brunch and it was excellent. There were sooo many entre items to choose from... My plate had 3 kinds of fish, chicken, brisket, prime rib and 3 styles of eggs (scrambled, quiche, benedict). There were also many more delicious looking things to choose from... I just couldn't cram any more food into my body, ha. They also had great mini-desserts and solid bloody marys (complete with a strip of bacon in them, ha). All-in-all, Share was a great place to take mom for Mother's Day this year. Next time I'm in town I'd like to check it out for dinner.

Wow. I was honestly not expecting the food to be as tasty as it was at the Atlas. The Blackened Catfish (served on andouille sausage-jambalaya and buttermilk coleslaw) is amazing. Service was great, staff was knowledgeable, and the atmosphere in their "cellar" is really nice. They also make a killer bloody mary. The next time I visit Iowa City, I will definitely make it a point to stop back into this restaurant.

Micky's is a little Irish Pub that surprised me. They had some legit Irish beer and whiskeys in stock (i.e. Powers whiskey, it's rare to see this stocked in American bars). The food was quite good as well. I enjoyed the Shrimp Po-boy and french onion soup.
